In audition to the error pointed out by Mir.

Martin in Appendix B of the Treasurer's

Memorandum, they have on page 12 of the

Estimates printed as the actual expenditure

of 1929 what is really the original estimate.

The Treasurer's Memorandum is one of the

most sketchy, that I have ever seen, for

example, there is not a single word of

explanation about the revised expenditure

figure for 1930. Nor is there is any

discussion as to how Government is going to be

financed

throughout the year.

They must be

counting on auvances from the Crown Agents,

or on the use of Loan Funas, if they are

allowed to float a loan.
